The service

SwapDraft is a Chrome extension and website that rewrite the passages you mark in a draft, using AI models that run through our server. A free plan comes with a limited number of credits; the paid "Pro" plan adds more credits, more models and higher limits. By using SwapDraft you agree to these terms.

Your account

You sign in with your email address. One account per person: creating several accounts to collect free credits is not allowed, and we may close accounts made that way. The keys that connect your extension are for your own use on your own devices. Sharing them to give other people access is a breach of these terms.

Credits

Rewrites are paid for in credits, which track what the AI models cost to run. You see an estimate before each run and are charged for what the run actually used. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred. Free credits, and the limits of each plan, may change. Pro credits are added each billing period and unused ones carry over up to a balance of 3,000.

Your content and the rewrites

Your drafts stay yours, and so do the rewrites you accept. You are responsible for what you send to SwapDraft and for what you publish. The rewrites are written by AI models and can be wrong, so read them before you use them.

Acceptable use

Don't use SwapDraft to produce content that is illegal, harassing or deceptive, and don't use it in ways that break the terms of the platform you are writing on. Don't resell access, run it through automated scripts, or try to get around plan limits. We may suspend accounts that do.

Subscription and billing

Pro costs $19 per month and is billed through Polar, our merchant of record. You can cancel at any time from your account page; Pro stays active until the end of the billing period you have paid for, and the account then returns to the free plan.

Refunds

If Pro isn't for you, email support@swapdraft.com within 14 days of your first charge for a full refund.

No warranty

SwapDraft is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for the content the models produce, for what you publish, or for any indirect or consequential damages.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
